Setting up Outlook 97 Internet Mail
 
Description:
These instructions will instruct you on how to configure Internet Mail e-mail client within Outlook.
 
Solution:
  1. Open Outlook 97 and from the navigation menu click on TOOLS
  2. Click SERVICES from the drop down menu.
  3. On the SERVICES tab (first tab) highlight the entry for INTERNET E-MAIL.
  4. Click on the PROPERTIES button.
  5. Click on the SERVERS tab (second tab).
  6. Fill in the Outgoing Mail Server/SMTP, mail.ahcomputers.net
  7. Fill in the Incoming Mail Server. mail.ahcomputers.net
  8. Fill in the POP3 Account Name -Your personal UserID and password for this account. 
  9. Click on OK.
  10. Exit the program.  The changes you've made will not take effect until you exit Outlook and restart the program.
